Field Report: New York Innovation Summit?

US Ignite's Lee Davenport and Jonathan Beam took two key opportunities to share insights about the power of community collaboration to build smart cities at the New York Innovation Summit. First, they participated in a panel alongside City of Syracuse Mayor, Ben Walsh, moderated by Jen Tifft, the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the City of Syracuse. Second, they led a cross-sector workshop to discuss the potential launch of a New York State Center for Smart Cities, including possible partnerships and use cases that could help it grow sustainably in the region.

Searching for Wet Bulb Globe Temperature?sensor expertise

US Ignite issued a Request for Proposals for IoT solutions from technology partners that can provide, deploy, and maintain Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) sensors for its Heat Risk Management project at Fort Moore, GA.

Proposals are due on December 6, 2024.


DC Startup & Tech Week Highlight!
