What a long, strange trip it’s been.
Phil Lesh, a founding member of famed jam band the Grateful Dead, has listed his home in affluent Marin County, Calif. — a stone’s throw from San Francisco — for $10.35 million, according to Zillow.
Lesh, who was born not far away in Berkeley and continues to play music with his group Phil Lesh and Friends, stands to make a modest profit if this Dutch Colonial property in the village of Ross sells for that price. He bought the spread in 2002 for $9.35 million, Zillow shows.–– ADVERTISEMENT ––
The 7,900-square-foot home dates back to 1906, but the listing notes that it has been updated.
If you think this gated pad comes adorned with dancing bears and psychedelic decor, you’d be wrong. Listing images show neutral-toned interiors with nice molding details, handsome hardwood flooring, high ceilings and large windows that look out to well-manicured greenery.
Dubbed the Bridge House, there’s a living room with a fireplace, a dining room with another one and yet another upstairs in the master bedroom.
