The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on Jan. 2 announced its decision to award credits for the continued operation of the 2.2-gigawatt Diablo Canyon nuclear plant in California under the $6 billion Civil Nuclear Credit, or CNC, program established by the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs.
