US Employers Want You & Other News You Need to Know Now

The US has the most job openings in 15 years – 5.4 million. People are also far more likely to leave their job voluntarily than be dismissed. Apple Music is the target of a joint antitrust investigation in New York and Connecticut. That’s in addition to an already reported FTC inquiry. Apple is suspected of colluding with labels to get in the way of its streaming music competitors like Spotify.

HP will pay shareholders $100 million to put to bed the issue of its botched Autonomy acquisition. That’s on top of the $11 billion it spent in the 2011 deal before writing down $8.8 billion of it.

Jack Ma is on a whistle-stop tour to conquer the US market. "From the American point of view, Amazon probably is the only business model for e-commerce, but no, we are different," the Alibaba founder said in New York, defending his model of empowering small businesses.
