Urgent Warning - O2 Customers

URGENT: Calls from 002233

What’s happening?

O2 have been made aware that some customers may have received calls from an 00223 number. In some cases, customers will have called it back and incurred charges at ￡1.67+VAT per minute.

This has been reported to the O2 Fraud team and they have taken action to bar the number.

What do I need to do?

O2 do not currently have details of which users have called the number back, as this issue has happened over the last few days. Fear not however as we can reassure any customer on O2 that the network will credit back the charges to their account so they’re not impacted by this.

If you do think you or a member of your team has fallen foul then please do report that they have called this number back. If you like then please drop us a line we will be happy to raise an O2 Post Connection request on the support side of our partner portal so that its recorded and you get credited.
