Brands with a small following of a few thousand followers could approach micro-influencers (who want to raise their profile) and ask them to produce a library of content to be used on the brand's social media channels. It's a win-win: it's relevant, high-quality content for the brand and exposure for the new influencer, even if it's to a relatively small audience.
Urgent Warning: New WhatsApp Scam Alert
Beware of a WhatsApp scam doing the rounds at the moment.? Several friends of mine were affected.?
Basically what happens is that you receive a verification code via SMS to your phone.? Then a “friend” (someone who has also been hacked) texts you that they sent you their verification code by mistake and can you forward it on.? Once you do this…. They can take over your identity on Whatsapp.? So any groups you are in, they replace you.?
This happened a close friend of mine at the weekend.? She was just waking up on a sleepy bank holiday and they caught her out when she was off guard.? I’m not sure what the scammers got out of hacking her account.?
They basically shut down all the WhatsApps groups she was in (by kicking everyone out of them) and then shared a graphic video of a violent act.?
Even though I wasn’t hacked myself it really felt like a something evil had come into my world.? Really horrible.? So the moral of the story is…. Don’t share verification codes with anyone.? Always be on guard.
