Management Accountant (Maternity Cover)

• Contract Length: 6 months, likely to be extended
• Location: Bromley
• Salary: ￡40,000 to ￡45,000
• Hybrid - 3 days home 2 days office (Tues and Weds)

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks and be adept at handling month-end journals, recurring invoices, and managing rents for stores. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes during the maternity leave period.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Manage and issue recurring invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Oversee rent schedules for stores, including any related financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Essential to have experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple financial schedules and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
