Key Responsibilities:

·?????? Design and develop scalable, high-performance Micro-services.

·?????? Architect Micro-services, APIs and systems using AWS Cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and integration.

·?????? Translate business requirements into architectural designs and API specifications.

·?????? Lead the implementation of Micro-services, APIs, including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

·?????? Evaluate and integrate advanced AWS services into the API lifecycle for improved functionality and performance.

·?????? Oversee and contribute to all phases of the development process, from conception to deployment.

·?????? Implement security and data protection best practices.

·?????? Design and implement API security and access control requirements.

·?????? Implement monitoring and integration with observability platforms

·?????? Design and implement performant, resilient and scalable APIs as per requirements.

·?????? Design API versioning and lifecycle management

·?????? Develop thorough API documentation

·?????? Implement API error handling

·?????? Working knowledge of Kafka event processing

·?????? Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align Micro-services architecture with business objectives.

·?????? Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on both technical skills and career development.

Qualifications:

·?????? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·?????? Experience in backend development as well as able to steer architectural discussions/decisions

·?????? Strong proficiency in AWS Cloud services (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB).

·?????? Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

·?????? Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

·?????? Proven ability to lead development projects and make architectural decisions.

·?????? Experience at API security standards, authentication mechanisms, and best practices.

·?????? Experience at CI/CD tools and processes.

·?????? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

·?????? Certifications in AWS architecture or development.

·?????? Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration technologies.

·?????? Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
