  1. Digital Citizen Contribution Program: may award up to $1,000,000 in funding for some projects with budgets of over $1,000,000. Deadline: November 28, 2023.
  2. Community Newspaper – Aid to publishers.?provide eligible Canadian publishers of print magazines, print community newspapers and digital periodicals with the financial support. Deadline: November 30, 2023.
  3. Magazine — Aid to publishers. Provide eligible Canadian publishers of print magazines, print community newspapers and digital periodicals with the financial support. Deadline:?November 30, 2023.
  4. The?Continuing Care Capital Program – Small Care Home Stream?support the development of standalone homes.?Deadline is extended until November 30, 2023.
  5. Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program: supports producers to conserve and enhance the environmental resiliency of your agricultural landscapes. Next intake deadline: November 30, 2023.
  6. TECHNATION’s Career Ready Program: up to $7000 subsidy available. Winter 2024 Program opens November 2023.
  7. African Swine Fever Industry Preparedness Program: Prevention and Preparedness Stream: access up to $1M funding. Deadline: November?30,?2024.
  8. African Swine Fever Industry Preparedness Program: Welfare Slaughter and Disposal Stream:?access up to $1M funding. Deadline: November?30,?2024.
  9. FACTOR Video program: maximum of $40,000 in video funding is available per qualifying release per fiscal year, across all programs. Application is ongoing.
  10. Canada Brand?is open to export-ready, registered Canadian business entities that have a role in producing, promoting or supporting Canadian agriculture, food or seafood products.
  11. Bursary for Internationally Educated Nurses (BIEN): up to $30,000 bursary per learner. The application is first-come, first-served.
  12. Regional Quantum Initiative (RQI) in the Prairie Provinces: EOIs will be accepted on a continuous intake basis until the funding is fully allocated.
  13. Community Engagement.?Planning for next November 2024 remembrance initiatives. Deadline: Ongoing.
  14. Community War Memorial. Community War Memorial funding supports the construction, restoration or expansion of a community war memorial. Deadline: Ongoing.
  15. Songwriter Development.?The Songwriter Development program offers a $2,000 subsidy toward a year of songwriting initiatives. Deadline: at least one calendar day before travel departure.
  16. Movable Cultural Property Grants. Help designated organizations acquire cultural property of outstanding significance and national importance to Canada. Deadline: Ongoing.

  1. Community War Memorial funding up to $25,000 to support the construction, restoration or expansion of a community war memorial. Deadline: December 1, 2023.
  2. Arts Presenting Project Funding: reimbursing a portion of professional artists’ fees for the preceding year. Deadline: December 1, 2023.
  3. Operating Investments?help arts and festival organizations fulfill their arts and festival mandates. Deadline: December 1, 2023.
  4. Programming Grants?are flexible and support non-profit arts and festival organizations to undertake specific work in Edmonton. Deadline: December 1, 2023.
  5. Canada Cultural Investment Fund – Endowment Incentives?provides matching funds to create endowment funds or to increase existing ones. Deadline: December 1, 2023.
  6. Canada-Japan Corporate Co-innovation Program. Canadian registration deadline: December 4, 2023.
  7. Regional Production Funding – Canada Media Fund provide funding to production across Canada. Deadline: December 7, 2023.
  8. The?Women in STEM Scholarship?application intake for 2023-24 is now open. $125,000 is available for this scholarship. Application intake will close December?8, 2023.
  9. Short-Term Projects – Canada Council for the Arts: up to $100,000 to support for any combination of eligible?projects lasting up to 12 months. Next deadline: December 12, 2023.
  10. Climate-Resilient Coastal Communities Program: may fund up to 100% of the total project costs. Deadline: December 13, 2023.
  11. Aviation Skills Grant: fund up to $30,000 per trainee for the duration of the program.?Grants will be assessed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline: December 13, 2023.
  12. ERA’s $40 million Emerging Innovators Challenge?will help Alberta businesses de-risk projects and reduce the time it takes to get them to market. Deadline: December 14, 2023.
  13. International Funding Opportunity: Knowledge Synthesis Grants on Evolving Narratives of Cultures and Histories. Deadline: December 14, 2023.
  14. The Digital Creators Pilot Program?(the “Program”) is designed to support the growth trajectory of mid-career Canadian digital content creators, who are making short-form video content exclusively for digital social media platforms – YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Deadline:?December 14, 2023.
  15. Canada–UK 2023-24 critical minerals sustainability and circularity call for proposals. Canadian registration deadline: December 15, 2023.
  16. Partnership Engage Grants 2023-24 competitions.?“Advancing Socio-Economic Research for Evidence-Informed Public Health Decision-Making.” December 15, 2023.
  17. Persons Case Scholarship: 40 students will receive $2,500 each for their studies. Application through GATE until December 18, 2023.
  18. Canada Service Corps – Service Placements National Stream:?funds up to $8,000,000 per fiscal year. Deadline: December 19, 2023.
  19. Northern and Regional Economic Development Program:?Organizations can apply for funding for projects that support economic development and diversification. Deadline: December 20, 2023.
  20. Canada Service Corps – Service Placements Regional Stream: Up to $3,000,000 per fiscal year. Deadline: December 19, 2023.
  21. Canada Service Corps – Micro-grants Stream: provides up to $3,000,000. Deadline: December 19, 2023.
  22. INOVAIT Pilot Fund: up to $125,000 to support collaborative R&D?projects with an aim towards commercialization. Deadline: December 20, 2023.
  23. The?ACT Open Call?is a funding scheme that can support innovative and international CCUS projects. Application is open throughout 2023 until December 31, 2023.
  24. Dairy Innovation Program (DIP).?Produce innovative dairy products. Deadline: December 31.
  25. Gay Lea Foundation?accepts funding applications from registered Canadian charities.?Fall application window will be open in September.
  26. Canada Greener Homes Grant: help homeowners save money, create new jobs across Canada for energy advisors and fight climate change. Provides rebate up to $5,000.
  27. Child care – Space Creation Grant will help enable 42,500 total new non-profit licensed spaces to be created over the next 5 years.
  28. Creative Export Canada?provides up to $7M in funding per year to support export-ready projects. Export-Ready Stream’s next intake will be in the Fall of 2023.
  29. Call for Proposals under the?Capacity Building stream of the Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways?is expected to open in fall 2023.
  30. First Nation Infrastructure Fund (FNIF)?helps improve and increase public infrastructure in First Nations. Deadline: Fall of each year.
  31. CanExport Associations: The 2024-25 application process for projects taking place between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025, is scheduled to commence in fall 2023.
  32. Take advantage of?Technology Alberta’s FIRST Jobs Programs?this fall. Acquire funding of up to $7,500 to hire quality talent across the province.
  33. Clean Tech Internships: Up to $30,000 is available to cover 80% of an intern’s salary, training and wrap-around service costs.
  34. Green Jobs Internship program: subsidize up to a maximum of $30,000 for youth ages 15 to 30 in the natural resources sector.
  35. Eurostars?is the largest international funding program for SMEs seeking to collaborate on R&D?projects for commercialization.
  36. Alberta Export Expansion Program: provides reimbursement up to 75% on eligible costs.
  37. Alberta Innovates is still accepting new applications for the?Export Readiness – Micro Voucher.

  5. Applied Research Tools and Instruments grants?support the purchase of research equipment with up to $200,000 funding. Deadline: January 16, 2024.
  6. Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations: provides wage subsidies to eligible employers. 2024-2025 funding cycle deadline: January 19, 2024.
  7. Energy Innovation Program Smart Grid Regulatory Innovation Capacity Building Call for Proposals: Program funding for this call is open to projects that request between $250,000 and $1,500,000. Deadline: January 31, 2024.
  8. The?Agricultural Societies Infrastructure Revitalization Program?provides annual capital funding to help agricultural societies make major repairs to existing infrastructure. Deadline: January 31, 2023.
  9. Hire a temporary foreign worker through the?Recognized Employer Pilot. Phase 1 is now ongoing. Applications for Phase 2 will start in January 2024.
  10. Green Industrial Facilities and Manufacturing Program – Energy Efficiency Solutons: access funding up to $20 million per proposal. Next call is anticipated to be launched in early 2024.
  11. Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages: benefit from salary subsidies and access to a pool of talented youth. Deadline: First come first serve to applications submitted after February 3rd.
  12. Funding for Indigenous-led awareness and education projects for cleaner transportation and clean fuels. Call for proposals with continuous intake open until March 31, 2024, or until funds are fully allocated.
  13. The?Accelerator Partnership Program (A2P)?is designed to provide producers of digital media projects. Application is?first come, first served. Closing date: February 8, 2024.
  14. Inventures 2024 Startup Pitch Event?– Applications Now Open! Apply and have a chance to score $10,000 in funding! Deadline: March 15, 2024.
  15. Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems Concept Development. Window # 2 Deadline: April 15, 2024.
  16. Aboriginal Fund for Species at Risk: Project funding usually ranges from $10,000 to $50,000 per project, per year. Application for projects commencing in 2024-2025 is now open.
  17. Enhanced Capacity Advancement Program: The next multi-year funding cycle intake is anticipated for fall 2025.?Learn more to help you prepare.
  18. Agricultural Clean Technology Program: Program funding for the Research and Innovation Stream is $50 million. Program?ends?March 31, 2028.
  19. Supply Management Processing Investment Fund?contributes up to $5 million in non-repayable contribution to an organization over the life of the program until March 31, 2028.
  20. Agricultural Clean Technology Program: Research and Innovation Stream: program funding is $50 million over 7 years, with this stream ending March 31, 2028.
  21. Supply Management Processing Investment Fund?contributes up to $5 million in non-repayable contribution.
  22. Ecosystem Development Partnerships Program: building Alberta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and creating competitive advantage through collaboration.
  23. Alberta Scaleup and Growth Accelerator Program?helps entrepreneurs bridge the scaleup gap, take their business to new heights and go global.
  24. Investments in Forest Industry Transformation (IFIT)?seek to invest in projects that integrate technologies in forest sector operations.
  25. Circuit Rider Training Program: supported by Indigenous Services Canada with more than $12 million per year. Application is ongoing.
  26. Indigenous Clean Energy – Project Accelerator: $125,000 available to assist with the development of an energy efficiency project.
  27. Strategic Partnerships Initiative.?The Strategic Partnerships Initiative (SPI) helps Indigenous communities participate in complex economic opportunities. Deadline: ongoing.
