  7. Technology Alberta FIRST Jobs Pilot Program: applications for companies and students are being accepted for 2023. Apply now!
  8. The?Disaster Recovery Program (DRP)?provides financial assistance for uninsurable loss and damage caused by emergencies and disasters. Application is ongoing.
  9. Business Revitalization Grant: provides a?grant matching 50% of construction costs up to a maximum grant amount of $25,000.
  10. Jobs and Growth Fund (JGF) in the Prairie Provinces: maximum funding available for a project is $10 million.
  11. Public Transit Infrastructure stream?support the building, expansion, and upgrading of urban and rural transit networks. Learn more.

  1. Heritage Awareness Grants?and?Research grants?provide matching grants of up to $25,000. Deadline: First working day of February.
  2. Historic Resource Conservation Grants: maximum matching grants available up to $50,000 per historic place. Deadline: First working day of February.
  3. Professional Development for Artists component of Explore and Create?provides up to $10,000. Next cut-off date: February 1, 2023.
  4. Connection Grants: access up to $50,000 or even higher to support your knowledge mobilization initiatives. Next deadline: February 1, 2023.
  5. Research grants?provide matching grants of up $25,000. Annual application deadline is the first working day of February.
  6. Insight Development Grants: valued at $7,000 to $75,000 over one to two years. Deadline: February 2, 2023.
  7. York Development Entrepreneurship Institute (YEDI) Incubator:?open to entrepreneurs across Canada.?Applications are now live and due online by February 3, 2023.
  8. Alberta Community Partnership – Mediation and Cooperative Processes program?support municipalities for mediation, facilitation or other dispute resolution alternatives to resolve intermunicipal conflict. Deadline: February 3, 2023.
  9. A third intake has been added to the?Future Focus Granting Program. $400,000 funding available! Deadline: February 6, 2023.
  10. First Nations and Inuit Summer Work Experience Program?and?First Nations and Inuit Skills Link Program: application is?now open until February 7, 2023.
  11. Envelope Funding for Music Companies: maximum funding for individual companies is?$600,000; affiliated companies at $800,000. Deadline: February 9, 2023.
  12. Call for Expressions of Interest – Integrating First Nations’ Knowledge & Perspectives Natural Assets Inventory. Deadline: February 14, 2023.
  13. Protein Industries Canada is now accepting AI project applications. Deadline: February 15, 2023.
  14. Taipei Sustainable Development Technology –?Canadian Technology Accelerator. Deadline: February 15, 2023.
  15. Inventures Startup Pitch Event 2023. Win $10,000 in inventures startup pitch competition. Deadline: February 24, 2023.
  16. The?Green and Inclusive Community Buildings (GICB) Program: access up to $25 million funding. Deadline: February 28, 2023.
  17. Odyssey – Language Assistant Program: paid work experience that provides a taxable salary of $ 25,000 for a nine-month work term. Deadline: February 28 of every year.
  18. Alberta Petrochemicals Incentive Program?provides grants to companies to attract investment in new or expanded market-driven petrochemical facilities.
  19. Need?funding for Indigenous-led clean production capacity projects? Apply here before funding expires.
  20. Community building recommissioning grant?provides up to $55,000 to cover up to 60% of eligible costs. Apply now before all funding is allocated.
  21. Connect to Innovate program?committed $585 million to improve connectivity in over 975 rural and remote communities by 2023. Application is still ongoing.
  22. Strategic Innovation Fund?supports large projects and national innovation ecosystems. Total investment leveraged – $67B. Apply here.

  2. The?Tourism Relief Fund (TRF)?is a $500-million national program to support the tourism sector in Canada.
  3. The?Major Festivals and Events Support Initiative (MFESI)?is a two-year, $200-million national fund to help major Canadian festivals survive and adapt to the pandemic.
  4. The?Jobs and Growth Fund?provides funding to businesses and organizations to help create jobs and position local economies for long-term growth. Learn more.
  5. The?Digital Economy Program?helps?small businesses take their businesses online.
  6. The?Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative (ARRI)?is a national program that will provide $250 million over three years to help the Canadian aerospace sector.
  7. Short-Term Compensation Fund for Canadian Audiovisual Productions (STCF): extended until March 31, 2023 and is budgeted at up to $150 million dollars.
  8. Indigenous Community Support Fund: request funding for needs-based support covering the period until March 31, 2023.
  9. Recovery support for Canadian arts, culture and heritage organizations through?Canada Arts and Culture Recovery Program.
