- SSHRC and Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) have launched this?Knowledge Synthesis Grants competition?to mobilize social sciences and humanities research. Deadline: September 1, 2022.
- Dance Individual Project Funding: awards up to $15,000 for a specific dance project. Deadline: September 1, 2022.
- Artist Manager Program Funding: provide a grant up to 100% of eligible expenses. Deadlines: September 1, 2022.
- Visual Arts and New Media Individual Project: provides up to $15,000. Deadline: September 1, 2022.

- Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program: supports the training and mentoring of teams by providing up to a maximum of $1.65M funding over six years. Deadline: September 22, 2022.
- The?Aboriginal Business Investment Fund (ABIF): Application?is now open until?September 30, 2022.
- First Nations Enhanced Education Infrastructure Fund: provides funding?to build new schools, renovate and expand existing facilities, and operate and maintain existing education infrastructure.?Deadline: September 30, 2022.
- AgriCompetitiveness Program:?applicant can receive maximum of $1 million per year. Intake period ends September 30, 2022 or until funding has been fully committed.
- AgriAssurance: Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Component: up to $100,000 funding. Deadline: September 30, 2022, or until funding has been fully committed.
- Pre-announcement for Alliance Missions: Anthropogenic greenhouse gas research: The call will target interdisciplinary, collaborative research projects supporting net-zero GHG emissions targets. Letters of intent deadline: September 2022.
- AgriCommunication Program: Applicants may apply for funding up to 70% of total eligible costs. Application is ongoing until September 30, 2023.
- First Nation Infrastructure Fund: Deadline for grant submission?is in the fall of each year.
- Genome Canada is launching a new?Climate Action Genomics Initiative?with approximately $30 million available funding. Deadlines: LOI- Mid-Sept. 2022; Application – Jan. 2023.
- Bob Etherington Heritage Conservation Fund: Apply for funding to support attendance or delivery of training. Deadline: first working day of October.
- Energy Innovation Program – Carbon capture, utilization and storage RD&D Call: up to $50 million in support for FEED studies for large-scale CCUS facilities. Deadline to submit Expression of Interest: October 3, 2022.
- Outreach Initiative grants and contributions program: support organizations?for a variety of science- or innovation-based initiatives or projects. Application period: between September 1 and October 10.
- Revitalization Extensive Project Fund (REPF)?offering the funding between $20,001 and $250,000. Next intake: from September 15 to October 13.
- The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is seeking a?solution that will prevent collisions by proximity sensing in order?to simplify the safety of autonomous operations of space manipulators. Deadline: October 14, 2022.
- The?Small Institution Fund (SIF)?fund to a maximum of $400,000 or $800,000. Next deadline: October 15, 2022.
- Engaging youth leaders to encourage organizations to apply for funding under the?Youth Innovation Component of the Enabling Accessibility Fund. Deadline: October 17, 2022.
- Original Peoples Investment Program: Total funding available for this program is $650,000. Application period: September 5 to October 17, 2022.
- Natural Resources Canada ISO 50001 program?for commercial and institutional buildings will open on September 19, 2022 until October 21, 2022. Up to $200,000 maximum funding available.
- First Nations Environmental Contaminants Program: supports?in identifying, investigating and characterizing the impact of exposure to environmental hazards.?Deadline: October 21, 2022.
- Alliance Consortia Quantum grants: NSERC will provide support for 100% of the eligible costs of research through this program. Deadline: October 21, 2022.
- CanExport Community Investments:?provides non-repayable contributions up to $500,000. Applications for the 2023 call for proposal opens in September – October 2022.
- Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund: funding available?up to $30,000. Open for monthly intakes.

- Enhanced Capacity Advancement Program: funding of up to $150,000 annually. The next multi-year funding cycle intake is anticipated for the fall of 2022.
- The Alberta government has committed up to $154 million for the continuing?Care Capital Program.?Grant submissions is anticipated later in 2022.
- Gain instant access to hundreds of new internships and exciting research projects through?Mitacs. A stipend starting at $10,000 per four-month period is available.
- Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program: COVID-19 Resilience stream:?The maximum size of projects under the stream is set at $10M total eligible costs.
- The?Jobs and Growth Fund?provides funding to businesses and organizations to help create jobs and position local economies for long-term growth. Learn more.
- The?Tourism Relief Fund (TRF)?is a $500-million national program to support the tourism sector in Canada.
- Work-Sharing Program: special measures for employers affected by the downturn in business related to COVID-19 effective March 15, 2020 to September 24, 2022.
- Indigenous Community Business Fund: access funding to support their community-owned businesses whose revenues have been affected by COVID-19.
- The?Digital Economy Program?helps?small businesses take their businesses online.
- The?Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative (ARRI)?is a national program that will provide $250 million over three years to help the Canadian aerospace sector.
- Arts Presentation Fund for COVID Recovery:?the City of Edmonton allocated funds?for artists to present and perform their work. Application is still ongoing.
- The?Major Festivals and Events Support Initiative (MFESI)?is a two-year, $200-million national fund to help major Canadian festivals survive and adapt to the pandemic.
- Canada Arts and Culture Recovery Program: This funding will reinforce $300-million Recovery Fund for the Arts, Culture, Heritage and Sport Sectors and the $200-million Reopening Fund from Budget 2021.
