I really really really need you to do me a solid and share with your social networks

Was speaking with friends who are health workers about what they need at this time.

1 - That Social Distancing thing - yah Do it!

2 - They don't have capacity. So if you have elderly relatives, have what's called a Plan of Care.

Think about what you want the doctors to do, when you show up to hospital. Do you want to be put in an ICU, and intubated to support your lungs, with a central line to your heart to support your blood pressure? Or do you want medical care at a non-ICU level, like with supplemental oxygen, pain medications, and antibiotics? Or do you want doctors to aggressively maximize your comfort with pain medications and all else we have at our disposal? if your heart stops, do you want us to do CPR? If you have arrhythmia, do you want us to shock you?

They said this is important because if there are already in frail health, chances of a meaningful recovery are poor.

3 - Don't hoard; keep supplies for the vulnerable and poor cos they're gonna do the worse.

4 - Check in with your healthcare friends. They really need your support. Hospitals apparently don't care about them and aren't even providing them with personal protective equipment (PPE). They're using bandanas and scarfs...
