The Urgency of Finding Better Ways to Care for Aging Loved Ones

Two years ago, I realized there was true urgency in finding better ways to care for aging loved ones. From my personal experience caring for my aging mother while also watching my contemporaries relive similar experiences, I imagined a better process for this stage of life.?

Healthcare is so personal, from a “what is needed” standpoint to recovery and the ability to live a productive life again. Earlier this month, it was a big earnings week for public companies – it was hard to avoid CVS’ news reaffirming their commitment to supporting at-home care. Beyond their passion for caring about their customers, there are certainly important financial opportunities to support those who are in need.?

Everyone seems to be on the same page about the importance of helping seniors, which we can all agree is a wonderful thing for those who deserve the best as they hope to maximize the joys of the last chapters of their lives. Even with big-name consumer brands getting in the mix, Lifeguard’s model aims to raise the bar of what is possible with a hybrid technology and high-touch personal care model. I’m so honored to follow my intuition to build an amazing team and solution to support our aging friends. So glad everyone is working for the betterment of our seniors.
