The exhibition focuses on the power of dualism (Yin and Yang in ancient Chinese philosophy), describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. 

It is our goal that URBAN WALLS achieves an extraordinary example of street art traditionalists preserving street art in its original state, conceived with the idea of a street art show that sidestepped the supposed commercialization and domestication of the genre, URBAN WALLS is a guerilla art show that meant to create a space for 2 local street artists to share their work with each other without the commercialization of the work that is inherent in any sanctioned gallery. There is a certain type of artist (Aquarela/ Ivan Roque) that the urban art movement has bred that enjoys the adventure as much as the art. Where else do you see a creative person risking themselves legally, financially, physically and creatively?”
