We're SO excited to be hosting Urban Canvas:?Empowering Youth through Public Art and Creative Media! This is a?panel discussion to?explore the potential of public art and creative mediums, such as art installations, murals, photography, videography, and design competitions, in urban design and planning, with a focus on their capacity to engage and empower the youth population in our cities.

Municipalities, architecture/design/planning firms, non-profits and other civic organizations are invited to submit a project to use as a case challenge for this year's conference design competition. 100 high school students will pitch their best ideas for your project.? This year's theme is "Thrive: Planning the Year-Round City", which represents a dialogue between youth and city builders about how indoor and outdoor public spaces can bring joy, wellbeing and happiness to everyone, all year round.?
