Learning in an Urban Life
As our cities continue to develop with urban residential infill, we need to find better ways to house, inspire and nurture young minds in urban learning environments. There is some debate about the opportunities for learning on tight inner-city sites, but if we are going to have any chance of reducing urban sprawl, we need to encourage more people to live in the city - and that means families, which means children, which means access to the very best education facilities. I visited two great examples of this in Melbourne early this year, by Hayball and Gray Puksand. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/f9w98Q5 #learningenvironment #architecture #schooldesign #sitevisit
