Culture and nature are intricately intertwined, and one is rarely without the other.
Last 10th July at the ACM (Asian Civilisations Museum) , ipse ipsa ipsum had the privilege of witnessing eye-opening presentations from fellow green advocates at the event titled Urban Landscapes Reimagined: Cultural Heritage Inspiring Environmental Stewardship. With talks spearheaded by like-minded organizations such as architectural industrial design firm WOHA Architects and Aga Khan Trust for Culture, each discussion proved truly enriching.

Thank you Akbar Humayun Makani for the wonderful invite, and the empowering feeling of change brought on by the lectures from Mr Shiraz Allibhai, Richard Hassell, Mr Nirmal Kishnani .The speakers shared their journey of converting non-arable urban parks into lush green spaces, integrating #culturalheritage with #environmentalstewardship. This unique approach not only rejuvenates cities but also fosters a deeper connection between communities and their natural surroundings.Their commitment to honoring heritage is in parallel with ipse's goals of preserving craftsmanship and tradition, and the idea of beautifying #greenspaces is an exciting project for ipse ipsa ipsum to work towards. As an advocate for #sustainablepractices, I see a great opportunity for ipse ipsa ipsum to contribute to this noble cause. Our unique technology allows us to take this initiative a step further by using #regenerativematerials derived from municipal waste. These materials can be repurposed into building components such as fences, pavers, and other construction materials. This not only adds a layer of #sustainability to the green spaces but also promotes a circular economy by reducing landfill waste. Moving forward, we are most eager to share our own advocacy of responsible material consumption, and push for the production and use of #regenerativematerials, so that we can thrive in a future that is better, stronger, and longer.
