Out now: Sustainability Report 2023

We are excited to share with you the progress we made in 2023 and present sustainable initiatives aligned with our long-term vision in our 9th Sustainability Report. To stay true to our ambitious sustainability goals we:

• Invested in modernizing our facilities
• Reduced the greenhouse gas emissions by almost 12% overall (between 2020 and 2023)
• Decreased our water footprint per kilogram of product by a good 2% (between 2020 and 2023)
• Introduced new technologies in our manufacturing processes, for example for wastewater treatments and chemical consumption control
• Launched high-quality, innovative products that contribute to sustainable efforts of our customers
• Continued our research into non-animal-derived collagen proteins to complement our future portfolio

In line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) by the European Union, we also established the necessary foundation to meet new mandatory standards of sustainability reporting by 2025, which will help us achieve our environmental targets.
