Nestled among orchards, wildflower fields, and farmlands will be the new luxury resort named Wildflower Farms, an Auberge Resorts property located in New York’s Hudson Valley. The 140 acre secluded property is expected to open in autumn of 2022 and is a mere 90-minute jaunt from New York City.
With plenty of animals,, heirloom gardens and more, it’s no wonder that the focus of this private gem situated at the base of the Catskill Mountains is wellness and nature. The area holds some historic significance as the region was a place of inspiration for many 19th-century Hudson River School painters. Additionally, it appears to be a strong culinary presence with its many farms, orchards, and distilleries nearby. There’s also state parks, art galleries, and antique markets. In the vicinity there’s also the Culinary Institute of America.
Guests can expect to enjoy privacy and social distancing with plenty of free-standing suites, cottages, and bungalows set among white pines and native perennials. Interiors will include wood-clad ceilings and floors, window seats, fireplaces, wood decks, private patios and fire pits. Onsite there will be tennis courts, an open-air gym with a movement studio and miles of dedicated hiking trails. A 9,000-square-foot Auberge Spa will include treatment rooms, outdoor hot tubs and an indoor saltwater pool.
The restaurant will have a bar, open kitchen and farm-based cuisine. There will be plenty of immersive experiences for guests including foraging, organic vegetable farming, cooking classes and picnics around the property.
