Greetings UPstanders!

?I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know and are dealing with directly, there is an assault on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Although some schools are moving away from this, I am seeing that individually, educators and school administrators still want to do this work and are committed to ensure that every child believes they belong in their schools and that they are engaging in a school culture that affirms them. It is for this reason that I am launching a virtual course entitled?R.E.A.Ch! which stands for?Resilient?Educators?Amplifying?Children.

?Educators in this program will learn to:

• Identify and challenge biases.
• Improve curriculum and classroom environments.
• Develop proactive tools to foster inclusion with students, parents, and colleagues.

Each module includes individual and group reflections, actionable activities, and even my original poetry to inspire and guide?educators on the journey. I have created online courses for diverse associations from the National Association of Secondary School Principals to the Special Needs Network. I strongly believe in this course and the impact it can have on educators, which will ultimately with benefit our children!
