The Upside of Struggling

The Upside of Struggling

?If you feel like you're riding the 'struggle bus' with your wellness improvement efforts such as weight loss,?building consistency in making healthier food choices or moving more, that struggle may not be such?bad thing. Instead of bemoaning and resisting the struggle or trying to avoid it, embracing it might actually open you up to a new pathway of achievement.? When we are in a struggle state, we naturally?want to get out?and?end it? and? achieve our desired results. ?But when we can embrace the patience that we develop with a more steady pace of??weight loss, we not only are much more likely to sustain it and put the frustration of riding on ?weight loss roller coasters behind us, we also learn resiliency along the way. It's often who we become along the way that builds our character of strength and esteem.? ?

We live in a time where we are conditioned by?ordering darn near anything and everything online and often ?getting it delivered to our doorstep the same or next day without having hardly lifted a finger.??That 'I want it now with little effort' conditioning isn't so beneficial?when it creeps into other aspects of our lives.??

On the Flip Side; A Different Approach 3 signs it's time to stop struggling?and try a different way

1. You keep doing the same thing expecting different results.?

2. You feel a sense of desperation or hopelessness and are considering extreme measures.???

3. When your time struggling?has surpassed (xyz). Only you can define what the?time period is. But if you're caught in any cycle of shame, self-blame or loathing, that's an indication?it's time to look for a different approach to change.??
