The Upside Of COVID-19

It is difficult to talk about the upside of the COVID-19 while almost everyone is suffering one way or another around the world.

Let’s face it. We live in an over-communicative world these days. Using all sorts of devices to our bone has helped many of us move our lives forward in many effective ways including defeating various diseases and overcoming many barriers, yet many do not have time to talk even with their own kids, families or loved ones. So what can we do?

The reality is that we are human. And there are things that we can control, and things that we cannot. While the pain and suffering of many in the world is killing me from within, unfortunately I cannot control the spread of the virus globally. What I can control is how I deal with the issues, and how I can affect the people around me in a positive and motivational way. So here are some of the takeaways that have helped me stay positive. I hope this helps you too!

1. General knowledge of Hygiene has gone up. So maaaaybe less inspection by my wife at home?! 

2: Working from home can be a plus as I can see more of our family. As long as they have the same feeling?

3: Cooking at home is now everybody’s job, even mine unfortunately. More clients for North York General Hospital!"

 4: Cooking for your family and friends is an amazing thing, I actually learned that there are 6 different knifes out there. But I do not know why?

5: There is low stock when it comes to paper towels, so the old legacy garden watering pots are back, legacy is beating modernization. At least in this case!

6: School and Day cares are closed, parents are going nuts over their kids. So I am no longer an outcast!

7: Less driving, less pollution. The climate thanks you, Greta is happier!! Love this girl.

8: I was always thinking how can I work effectively from home…..and still thinking!!

9: I was expecting calls from my team members to see how are they cooping working from home……it is 5pm and still waiting!?? Actually this is not true. They've called 3 times, but not for me….

10: Actors have had a hard time to get jobs in movies, but there seems to be no shortage of them on TV. With so much opportunity, maybe I should send my head shot??

 In all seriousness though, it is unbelievable to see how values can change so dynamically during tough times. We realize all we have is our loved ones and a few close friends who care about us. So LOVE IS STILL THE QUEEN. I hope that as human beings we learn that we are in this together. No matter who we are, what we own, or where we come from.
