?Book Synopsis
"Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may [a]prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[b] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God?is?with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:6-9)
?I trust these daily meditations will be inspirational and spiritual to your valued soul. Sharing daily meditations and inspirations has been at the centre of my heart for many years. I have now collected these devotions and compiled them into daily devotional books. The devotions are for the initial period of 383 days. Every devotional day has a text for the scriptures, some explanations of the scriptures, and some takeaway reflections.
These devotions are the meditations of my mind, got from meditations on the scriptures, and God's dealings with me. I have also included what I learn by observations in the lives of others as they either deal with God or reject him. Observations on how God deals with his creation and noted the sovereignty and divide providence of God.
I have acknowledged direct quotations from other works. Do not keep God away from your life. Involve him in every department. Psalm 37:5 says;
"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, delight in God, rest in God, be patient and He will give you the desires of your heart." And again, he encourages us to delight in the scripture in Psalm 19:7-11;
"The law of the?Lord?is?perfect,?converting the soul; The testimony of the?Lord?is?sure, making?wise the simple; The statutes of the?Lord?are?right, rejoicing in the heart; The commandment of the?Lord?is?pure, enlightening the eyes; More to be desired?are they?than?gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the?honeycomb. Moreover, by them, your servant is warned, and?in keeping them,?there is?great reward.”
If you love meditations and would love a free eBook, send me a note and you will have the devotional books for the entire year.
