Award-winning specialist B2B agency UPP B2B is celebrating a huge new business win after successfully securing the creation and launch of Santa Claus’s new B2B brand. The MediaCity based agency believes they have spotted a strategic opportunity for the traditionally B2C brand — citing the outstanding distribution capability of Mr Christmas’s sleigh-based supply chain as an area for wide-scale growth in the previously untapped B2B sector. With a fleet of nine magical reindeer, a team of enchanted elves, centuries of experience delivering billions of packages and an ability to meet impossible timeframes, there is a real sense that a year round B2B offer from the festive logistics giant is exactly what global organisations (particularly ecommerce retailers) are looking for. The brand development process is currently under way, with Santa’s sights set on a Q2 2023 launch.

Michael Clark, Managing Director, Upp B2B commented: “In the current economic climate, with driver shortages and the rise of e-commerce, we see a real chance for Mr Christmas to reach a wider audience, all year round. Our mix of strategic, creative and B2B industry knowledge make us the ideal partner to deliver this.”
Mr Christmas, CEO, Santa Claus remarked: “I know everything there is to know about Christmas delivery. I know how to get up and down a chimney, I know who’s been naughty and nice, but I don’t know much about B2B. The team at Upp however, seem to have that side of things all wrapped up.”

Mr Christmas later added: “Ho, ho, ho.”
The exciting appointment has also led to the development of a new Lapland HQ for the North-West agency.
