What do you consider when you encounter a new work of art?

Ask yourself:

What type of art is it?

"White Star"

Is it Object-based / Experience-based / Time-based?

Does the work invite you to take part, or go inside it?

Does it activate multiple senses?

"Trio"

Is it an object that changes over time? Is it part of a series?

How is the work visually organized?

"Big Wow"

How does your eye travel through or around it?

What is the work made of?

"The Absence"

What is the significance of choosing those particular materials?

What is the genre?

How can you learn more? Visit the artist’s website...and enjoy other works of art.
