In case you missed some updates from the offshore wind sector over the past few days, we've got a quick overview of some of the major news below to get you up-to-date. ??


The first two wind turbines have been installed at Dogger Bank A, the first of the three phases of the UK’s 3.6 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm, the world’s biggest #offshorewind farm under construction.

Cable-laying operations for the inter-array links at the 800 MW Vineyard Wind 1 offshore wind farm in Massachusetts, the US, are about to begin.

In another update from the US, the State of New York could soon see 2 GW of offshore wind capacity approved as the decision on whether to grant the go-ahead to the Empire Wind 1 & 2 projects is expected this autumn.

Among the major updates over the past few days is also the news that Van Oord and Ecowende, a joint venture between Shell and Eneco, agreed to collaborate on the construction of the Hollandse Kust West VI project, which is set to include several nature-inclusive features.
