Creating a Green Future for All

In collaboration with our sustainability partners, Northshore, we created a program that provided measuring, tracking, and reducing environmental impact to benefit AtlasEdge customers and community.?

In the first few months of 2024, this project reduced carbon emissions by 65 Tons!

Last week, our team received the International Green Apple Award for Technology - Partnerships at Kensington Palace! ??

We’re excited to take this accomplishment throughout 2025, and reduce our carbon footprint even more over the next year! ??

This month, we hosted “Sustainability in Technology: A View from the Trenches” with T3C Group Ltd !?

This event focused on how industry leaders can collaborate to make data centres more sustainable. After an interesting afternoon, we walked away armed with more insights and knowledge thanks to presentations from Wendy Porter , Senior Security HSEQ Compliance Analyst, VP of Security and Compliance at AtlasEdge, Susan Ashton , James Hall from Greenpixie , Paul Bates from Uptic and Mark Butcher for their incredible presentations!

Planning the Future

?? This month, our Executive Director, Josh Joshi, and Communications & Marketing Senior Director, Duncan White, met with Gordon McKee MP to discuss the future of the data centre sector within the UK and how the government can support its advancements.

At AtlasEdge, we are excited to see continued proactive support for the industry, backed by government action. With proper digital infrastructure in place (especially data centres), the local economies can thrive and advance as rapidly as the technology. ????

Our team had the pleasure of hosting the MP for Leeds South and Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Hilary Benn, to our Tier 3 standard Leeds data centre.?

They discussed the future of UK digital infrastructure, and how local and national economies will benefit from this new data centre.?

We also had the honor of welcoming Stuart Clarke MBE - founder of Leeds Digital festival, UK Tech Week, and a huge proponent of England’s tech sector, and Matt Robinson, Head of Nations & Regions at the excellent techUK for the visit.

We’re excited to watch the city of Leeds thrive and emerging as one of the top locations for digital growth.

Construction Update: Our Lisbon Data Centre Moves Forward!?

Our brand-new #Lisbon data centre is coming to life, piece by piece! This uniquely designed structure is customized for high efficiency and flexibility, with 147 precision-built modules from Leadership Datacenter GmbH in Germany.

Spanning nearly 9,000 square meters, each piece has been delivered from Antwerp to the Portuguese coast, ensuring quality and sustainability at every step of the way.

??? The construction is progressing smoothly on our latest high-tech data centre in Stuttgart! Leveraging our sustainable, modular construction approach, this state-of-the-art facility is coming together efficiently, both time and resource-saving.

From Berlin and Hamburg to Leverkusen, Düsseldorf, and Stuttgart, our German data centres are powering the country’s digital future. Each facility is designed to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital landscape, supporting the growth of businesses locally and globally.?
