In Islam, the pursuit of knowledge is highly valued and encouraged. The Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ? said, Seeking knowledge is an obligation (Fard) upon every Muslim (male and female). (Sunan Ibn Majah, vol. 1, pp. 146, Hadees 224). This hadith primarily refers to the obligation of seeking Islamic rulings and understanding related to each individual's state and responsibilities.
