Update on Soul Stirrings
Had a great conversation with my publisher tonight! She sent me over her edits for the final round. I am so excited that this beautiful project has finally hit the finish line. She also put this in the book as a surprise to me after a conversation we had recently. I am overwhelmed with appreciation and gratitude. Thank you Debra Shiveley Welch for understanding the importance of the message <3 #soulstirrings #THECOLLECTIVE.
Note from the Publisher
A few weeks ago, I had this intense urge to call Robin. We talked for a few moments when, like Robin, I began to feel this tingle. Mine is a bit different; my entire body feels like I’ve received a faint, continuous electrical shock. I said to her, “Hold on. Someone is talking to me.”
Before me stood a young man with red hair covered in dust. He wore a fireman’s uniform without his protective head gear. I listened, then said to Robin, “Patrick is trying to tell you something. “Patrick? I don’t know of a Patrick. Describe him.” Robin was silent for a moment. I assumed that she was going through her list for the North Tower. “Oh, my God!” she exclaimed. The man I’ve been calling Sean has the middle name of Patrick! His father’s name is also Patrick.” “Ah,” I said,” and he’s of Irish descent?” “Yes,” Robin replied. “First generation born over here.” “Well, I’m of Irish descent too,” I replied, “and I’ve found that we tend to use middle names, especially when a parent has the same first name. Like my brother Jeff. His father’s name was John Leroy and Jeff’s is John Jeffrey, so we call him Jeff. I think we have the right person. Patrick wants to thank you for giving him his voice and telling his friends how he passed.”
Robin sent me his photo, and sure enough, it was the same endearing man I saw before me. I felt truly honored. It blew my mind. This was the first time I’d been able to see a photo of someone I’d connected with when they were still walking this earth.
When two people, who have never met face-to-face, such as Robin and I, experience the same connection, there has to be truth – evidential proof that the experience is real.
I am excited to publish this book, and I hope that it brings comfort and closure to those who still grieve for their loved ones.
Good Red Road Publishing is proud to help Robin Y. Cotè bring to you Soul Stirrings.
