An Update

Well this has been a nerve-racking and worrisome long weekend. As I posted earlier, I had the worst of my 1,000+ Cancer surgeries on Friday - 8-Hours of painful surgery, and she was not able to get all the Cancer. And the pathology from that surgery shows that the Cancer has spread down the ear canal, they do not know to what depth, or whether surround bone is involved too. So, she has been in touch with a colleague specializing in Head & Neck Cancer surgery, who got in touch with me yesterday, and I meet with tomorrow - for a pre-op exam, review and planning. I have never, in all of those surgeries, had a doctor, let alone two now, sound so concerned, each using the phrase that it is, "Urgent that we get you in immediately." Hence my ...concerns, being more than the usual.

BUT, No Worries, I am ready for whatever comes next - Surgeries, letting things run their course at this point in my long fight, or whatever. The only thing that I will NOT do is anything - e.g. Radiation or the like - that would make whatever time I have left even worse, and less importantly costly. I'd rather spend what I have left on some fun things - Dinners with friends and loves, maybe a little travel to see friends, and the like, than to simply be sick at home.
