Update on the National Robotics Strategy and request for case studies
Robotics Australia Group
Creating a sustainable Robotics Industry for Australia
The National Robotics Strategy Advisory Committee met last week and the Department of Industry, Science and Resources updated us on progress towards developing the Strategy. Unfortunately the release of the discussion paper and the consultation process on the strategy has been delayed, however this gives some time to submit case studies to demonstrate the opportunity that Australia has by supporting this emerging industry.
We encourage you to submit case studies to us via a Google Form we have set-up here and we will promote these on our website, submit to the government and potentially use in a future edition of the robotics roadmap. The more concrete examples of Australian success we can provide the stronger our chance of meaningfully influencing government policy. Note that the Department are familiar with the case studies already provided in the 2018 and 2022 robotics roadmaps, although any updates to these case studies would also be welcome.
We have a lot of momentum to build on and we look forward to continuing to work with you. If you would like to support the work that we are doing please consider joining as a Friend, Member or Sponsor.
A warm welcome to 2x new members to the Robotics Australia Group!
