An update on my feed
Howdy,
I wanted to take a moment to reach out and explain the recent silence from my end.
Where I’ve Been
Over the past few months, I’ve been struggling on multiple fronts. The most devastating of these challenges has been the loss of my daughter last year. The grief and pain of missing her tremendously have been overwhelming, and it has taken a significant toll on me.
Additionally, I have been facing severe financial difficulties. I have been struggling to find training, consulting or even work. Without any source of income, and the costs of taking time off last year to be with my daughter, my financial reserves are depleted.
Due to these circumstances, my activity on social networks has dropped considerably. I have been focusing on getting a job and surviving. Frankly, I haven’t had the funds for basic necessities like food, let alone the tools I use for business and posting. Many of the essential tools, like Microsoft Office, require subscriptions that are currently unpaid and suspended. These tools are critical to my writing and content creation.
Looking Forward
Despite these challenges, I’ve recently started a very short-term gig and am desperately awaiting my first payday. I am actively seeking a longer-term engagement, and any leads or introductions you could offer would be immensely appreciated.

6 个月Thanks everyone, this is very much me communicating my radio silence with newsletter and content posts. I have been commenting on LI posts as no tools are needed. As for the loss, it’s going to take a long time as there are many little things that trigger emotions, like going to shops seeing things she loved or hated and remembering her reactions to things. I know it will get easier over time and know there will be some bad days too. Thanks for the support, and I am looking forward to posting content soon.

6 个月Sorry for your loss man. On the tool front, in my company we use open source and free or low cost tools. You might want to look at WPS Office which is very similar and sometimes better than Ms office (has free version which has almost everything and very affordable paid one for tools like AI) . The other one that we use is Libre Office, which is open source and totally free. Emails, I use zoho mail, I think they still have free mail tier for 5 users now. You can use your own domain which is very cool. Let me know if you have other tools that you need, might be able to point you to the open source route.
