Update on Matt Powell X BCE: 2nd Anniversary

Happy (belated) New Year!

This week is my 2-year anniversary of forming Spurwink River LLC and my affiliation with BCE Consulting.

I continue to be humbled by the industry’s response to this new venture.

We made over 200 C-Suite calls to inform the industry about our services and to catch up with old friends and new ones.

We’ve completed more than a dozen projects so far and have many more in the pipeline more in the pipeline.?

2024 was a record year for us and 2025 has started out even better.

We have helped brands and retailers to:

·??????? Discover new sources of revenue and adjacent business.

·??????? Determine market sizes and opportunities.

·??????? Begin the M&A process.

·??????? Uncover both commercial and consumer insights.

We have been successful because the platform is:

·??????? Senior leadership lead: Walt Shepard (my BCE colleague) and I are immersed in working on every project

·??????? Nimble: Because BCE is small, we are able to take on quick strike, nearly immediate results types of projects.

·??????? Efficient: We don’t have a huge overhead and are able to price our work very competitively.

·??????? Steeped in industry knowledge and experience: Walt and I combined have more than 75 years of senior retail experience in the sports and outdoors industries.
