For 2022, we are excited to offer new modules?such as “The Art of Persuasion” and “How to Influence without Authority.”?

We are proud that our programs build confidence and help people invest their skills back into their communities, their relationships, their companies, and their countries.

They are using their passion and their skill to speak up for what they believe in.

Top 3 Public Speaking Tips of 2021

This year, our team of trainers and coaches - John Watkis, Casey Carpenter, Bill Beaman and myself—led over 300 training and coaching sessions with the most popular module being?Building your Executive Presence: Virtually and In Person. Here are our most-shared tips of the year:

Authenticity over Perfection

Public speaking isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being authentic. Yes, you have to be prepared and accurate, but audiences don’t want to hear a memorized, scripted talk. They want you at your best, using language that’s natural and clear. And when you can show authenticity in a virtual setting, you create a connection that transcends distance.??

Hybrid Communication is a Skill

While you’ve heard us say for years that public speaking is a skill, hybrid communication is its own unique skill. The versatile communicator can seamlessly speak to both in-person and virtual audiences with the right preparation?and practice. This format will become standard practice in the new year.??

Pause and Breathe

Amidst the uncertainty of the world and the unpredictability of technology and audiences, our most tried-and-true motto remains. Pause and breathe to gather your thoughts before you speak, in the middle of a difficult conversation as you choose your words carefully, and afterward to process what you’ve just heard.

Our Call to Action

What was your courageous public speaking moment of 2021??

Last year, we shared this?greeting?for the new year. How have you used your voice this year? Please?comment?and tell us your courageous public speaking moment of 2021.

While it has been a challenging year for so many of us, we are inspired by the impact of our work and feel a continued sense of purpose as we prepare for the new year.?

We look forward to changing lives together in 2022.

Be well,

Fabulous, Allison! Congrats on 9 years and on your many successes. My most courageous moment has been every time I've gotten personal in front of an audience. I have a hard time being vulnerable, but I know that I need to.
