TOP Insightful Tip from Kathryn Creedy
? Networking is not just about connections. It is about sharing your expertise on behalf of your industry. I read dozens of stories on human resources, hiring, aviation/aerospace workforce initiatives, providing thought leadership on issues raised. By doing this I have built a following of 7,000+ organically and advise readers that simply joining an organization or site is not enough. To be successful you must be active, volunteering in industry groups and posting your thoughts about major issues concerning the industry on LinkedIn. That is the only way to get noticed and to find success in networking. I have also moved the needle on educating others about workforce issues as well as learned from others, which has made what I share richer. The advice I give is to leverage people you meet at industry events by connecting with them on LinkedIn to learn the details of what they do and then participating by commenting on their posts. That has given me recognition I did not have before I built my LinkedIn presence.?

TOP Actionable Tips from Malak Trabelsi Loeb
? Thriving on LinkedIn begins with defining your purpose. Whether you aim to network, share expertise, or explore opportunities, having clarity will guide your actions. Start by optimizing your profile—choose a professional photo, craft a compelling headline, and write a summary that authentically showcases your expertise and aspirations. Regularly share valuable content that reflects your knowledge and interests, such as insights, case studies, or personal experiences, while also celebrating achievements and milestones. Engage authentically by commenting thoughtfully on others’ posts, responding to comments on your own, and building genuine connections through personalized messages. Visuals like videos, infographics, or images can make your posts more engaging and memorable. Use relevant hashtags strategically to increase visibility and stay updated on industry trends by following discussions and joining LinkedIn groups. Participating in events or webinars can also expand your network and deepen your expertise. Finally, be consistent and patient—growth on LinkedIn takes time, but by staying authentic, adding value, and focusing on meaningful relationships, you’ll position yourself as a trusted voice and thought leader in your field.?

TOP TIPS from Erika Armstrong
?To thrive on LinkedIn, you must be willing to share your thoughts and present a different perspective on challenges and topics of conversation in the industry. It's hard to do because the trolls will try to destroy you, but if you have struck a chord with your followers, your followers will destroy the trolls.?
