  • IN-PERSON IN IOWA-Introduction to Trauma and Dissociation (with EMDR), Friday, Apr 19, 2024, 8:00 AM- 4:00PM - Join Lindsey Olsen, LMFT as she utilizes video examples, case examples, and lectures to help clinicians gain a basic understanding of the theory of structural dissociation. Participants will learn two techniques to titrate their patients, the components of Fraser’s Table, two different ways to adapt Phase 2 for Parts work, identify three common defense mechanisms often presented by patients, and more.   • HYBRID-Powerful Gottman Method Couples Therapy Tools for the Clinician-February 23, 2024, 8:00 am-4:00pm-This training, led by Diane Foy, M.Ed., Licensed Psychologist, will give participants a detailed overview of John Gottman’s Sound Relationship House and how to integrate the research findings into couples therapy.   • Motivational Interviewing - June 7th and 14th, 2024, 8:00am-4:00pm - Join Sue EckMaahs, a MINT trainer, for this two-part introductory training on utilizing motivational interviewing to help facilitate and support client/patient change and growth. This workshop provides 12-14 contact hours and is highly experiential, giving practitioners “hands-on” exposure and practice.   • IN-PERSON ONLY - Postpartum Psychosis, Friday September 20th, 2024, 8:00am-4:00pm - Michele Davidson, PhD, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C, CNM, CFN will provide a comprehensive examination of postpartum psychosis, including the incidence, risk of recurrence in subsequent pregnancies, diagnosis, and common and uncommon symptoms.
