In-Person Training

Forensic Technical Assessor

At the MAAFS Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA, ANAB will be hosting a training course for individuals interested in serving as an ANAB technical assessor for the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation programs. Jami StClair , a Senior Accreditation Manager of Forensics at ANAB, will help participants gain an understanding of the accreditation requirements and the ANAB accreditation process. Attend this training course on May 6-8, 2024 and register for the MAAFS Annual Conference here.

If you’re unable to make it to Pittsburgh, then there will be another session of the Forensic Technical Assessor training course at Verdugo Regional Crime Laboratory (131 N. Isabel St., Glendale, CA 91206) in Glendale, CA. Led by one of ANAB’s adept Lead Assessors, John Yoshida , on May 14-17, 2024, individuals will get a chance to acquire the knowledge and skills to be a competent technical assessor when serving on an ANAB assessment. Accreditation Related Standards Training

Personnel Certification: Requirements and Concepts of ISO/IEC 17024

Did you know that ISO/IEC 17024 is a globally accepted benchmark for bodies managing the certification of persons? To get a better understanding of this standard and its requirements, join this live online training course on May 8-9, 2024! James DiIanni , one of ANAB’s skilled Lead Assessors, will review how to successfully navigate the application process for ANAB accreditation. Certificate Issuers: Requirements and Concepts of ANSI/ASTM E2659

Through presentations, small group discussions, and exercises, participants of this live virtual training course on May 15-16, 2024 will gain an understanding of ANSI/ASTM E2659 and ASTM D8403. Eric T. Vincent, MS, ICE-CCP , one of ANAB’s adept Lead Assessors, will describe the ANAB accreditation process based on ISO/IEC 17011. ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Assessor Training

Michael Weisrock, one of ANAB’s qualified Lead Assessors, will use a hands-on, exercise-based approach to effectively develop the necessary competencies required of a lead assessor. This live online training course will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. Validation and Verification of Analytical Methods

Jana C. , one of ANAB’s skilled Lead Assessors, will explain how to use a validation and/or verification to demonstrate that the analytical methods are suitable for use. ANAB’s modular course design allows tailoring courses specifically to your organization’s training needs. Private training can be done live online or in-person anywhere around the world. Discounts on ANAB Training

ANAB accreditation applicants can get 10% off a single registration. ANAB accredited customers can get 5% off on up to three registrations for the same course and 10% off on four or more registrations for the same course. ANSI Full Members can get 10% off, and if you’re interested in becoming an ANSI Full Members, please apply here. Within a calendar year, if an individual has already participated in two instructor-led courses, then they can get their third for free.
