1. Multi-device Support

2. Hide Your 'last seen' Information from Specific Contacts.
WhatsApp has always featured a setting to hide your most recent location from your contacts. It is a valuable option for people who want to keep their WhatsApp availability hidden from their contacts. One disadvantage of using this function is that you won't be able to see your contacts' 'last seen' status. When the functionality is activated, you will hide your 'last seen' status from particular contacts while still being able to see the 'last seen' status of everyone else in your contacts. The functionality is already present in the app's beta version, and it will be rolled out to all users in the following weeks or months.
3. Instagram Reels on WhatsApp
In the future, WhatsApp will receive the Instagram Reels section. The feature will reportedly permit users to overlook Instagram Reels instantly from the messaging app. This could be part of WhatsApp's effort to integrate with Facebook's other apps. Instagram Reels, for those unfamiliar, is a short video function that was added to the photo-sharing app last year after the government outlawed TikTok.
4. No Time Limitation for Deleting Sent Messages
While WhatsApp allows users to delete sent messages, there is currently a time limit of up to 4,096 seconds (68 minutes and 16 seconds) for doing so. However, based on tests on a beta version of the app, the business may want to remove this restriction permanently. During the testing, no time limit for performing the delete operation was discovered. It means that users will delete all of their previously sent messages. However, there is no set date for when this function will be accessible, so it will be some time before we see it.
5. A New Community Feature
WhatsApp is working on a new community feature that could be available soon. According to reports, the feature is like Discord groups and channels. This is not to be confused with WhatsApp's existing group feature. The new communities feature will provide managers with more control over the app's various components. Admins will create various groups within a community, similar to how Discord allows you to do. Community conversations, like regular chats, will be end-to-end encrypted. 6. WhatsApp Logout
The 'Delete Account' button will be replaced by a logout button that will support the future multi-device capability. Customers will log out of WhatsApp accounts from their smartphones in the same way that they can check out Facebook and other social networking apps. 7. Read Later

8. Message Reactions
Users will respond to messages with an emoji instead of having to type each time. The feature is designed after Facebook's and Instagram existing message reaction options. The platform is expected to launch with six emojis for users to choose from.
9. Pause and Resume Voice Recording
Users will pause their audio recording in the midst and restart it later using upcoming WhatsApp capabilities. In situations where you cannot record the message in one sitting, this feature will be highly profitable.
10. Unknown Business Account
Unknown Business Accounts is a new feature that alerts consumers when an unknown business account contacts them. While this option was previously present in the app, its placement has been altered to provide a better experience and understanding of who you are chatting with. Initially, the option will be available solely to Android users.
