Up to DIA #7
Hello, welcome to the seventh edition of the weekly Up to DIA! This one is written in Munich. Last week, I did say there wouldn't be another version of Up to DIA due to preparations needing to be made for the event. However, I somehow managed to find a way to still deliver the latest news to you. In this newsletter, we'll once again have a couple of featured insurtechs appearing at DIA Munich 2022 and their respective articles on our website . Moreover, we have exciting tidbits from two of long-standing companies who've appeared at numerous DIA events and two podcast episodes by Reinventing Finance Podcast .
Nikolaus Sühr and Tom VAN DER LUBBE released two exciting new Reinventing finance podcast episodes featuring keynote speakers Winnie Wong, JP , CEO & Executive Director at Asia Insurance and Avo Insurance , and Amelie Breitburd , CEO at Lloyd's Europe.
Moving on we got seven insurtechs who'll be taking the stage tomorrow and Thursday. The first one is 3rd-eyes analytics AG . They offer a flexible and modular SaaS solution based on a state-of-the-art IT architecture. With this solution, the company adds to the need for hyper-personalisation. This solution will be demoed at DIA Munich 2022 by Holger P?tschke , Senior Director Business Development DACH.
Next up is ValueChecker.ai and their solutions based on AI, machine learning and big data to digitise and automate the incredibly important claims processes. Arie Struik , ValueChecker's founder & CEO and Willem van der Hooft , co-founder and Business Development at Van Ameyde Group will be giving a live demo of their solution in a standalone web version and one that is eFNOL/integrated.
Number three is vlot Ltd. Their highly flexible and innovative programming approach enables seamless omnichannel deployment and has significantly lower maintenance costs than its rivals. Michael Dritsas and Daniel Schmidheiny , respectively the CEO and co-founder of vlot will present the Financial Well-being Score live on stage in Munich.
Fourth is credium , an insurtech startup specialised in AI and machine learning. This company operates in the field of geospatial analytics and at DIA Munich 2022, their CEO Timm Tr?nkler will be demoing credium's geospatial AI solution, which includes the benefits, options and of course how to make use of it.
Another AI-focused insurtech is Claim Genius , which specifically deals with vehicle insurance. The way it works is that customers use any camera-enabled device to capture images or a video of damaged parts, the Genius AI then accurately analyses the data and sends a damage assessment report to the insurer.?At the event, the CEO of Claim Genius, Raj Pofale will be demoing their innovative computer vision technology.
Next up is FRISS , an insurtech founded in 2006. FRISS solutions are all about living up to the FRISS Score, which is AI-Powered Insurance Fraud Detection. This software automatically detects suspicious claims, based on predictive models, text mining, revealing networks and discovering hidden patterns. In Munich, Bas de Graaf , Global Partner Manager FRISS and Sarah Carr , Consultant at msg nexinsure Karriere will present how FRISS' solutions were seamlessly integrated into msg nexinsure Karriere , a core claims solution provider.
The seventh and final one features Dynamo Cover Limited and its consumer-facing platform. Dynamo is a 0% Commission platform for you to buy and manage insurance needs. Dynamo has a growing number of insurers on its platform, however, it primarily acts in the same capacity as a broker, so customers are Dynamo’s customers.?At DIA Munich 2022, the CEO Alex Mills and partners from Corniche Growth Advisors will be presenting their mysterious ‘Indiana Mills and the quest for the Holy Grail’ at their booth.
Now some extra tidbits. The first one is by double DIAmond award winner dacadoo , who announced the 5.0 version of their Digital Health Engagement Platform at InsureTech Connect Vegas last weekend. This 5.0 version features a new SaaS feature, which further emphasizes their Predict & Prevent offering. Congratulations on this great update to the CEO of dacadoo, Peter Ohnemus and his amazing team!
The second tidbit is by bsurance and their exciting team-up with anybill . It's a brilliant cooperation. Let me explain: anybill?provides the digital ecosystem for issuing, receiving and processing digital receipts, while?bsurance ?allows businesses to enhance their products with Embedded Insurance products and services. So, customers can have their digital receipts and insurance in the same place.
