It's the week of Sinterklaas in the Netherlands. Fun fact this Dutch national holiday is celebrated in multiple countries but each country has its own spin on the holy man. In Belgium, the Saint arrives a day later on the sixth, In Austria, he's known as Nikolaus and in Switzerland as Samichlaus. In short, this man traveled all across Europe and was known for his benevolence and generosity and today his legacy lives on and is remembered fondly in many European countries.

DIA Munich 2022 marked the tenth edition of DIA and one partner that has stood together with us since the very beginning was CMT Europe . This insurtech helps insurers and brokers better address and fulfill customer needs by launching usage-based insurance products, based on customer behavioral data. They achieve this with their robust telematics technology platform.
Because it was also their tenth appearance we decided to offer their CEO Marijan Mumdziev a special little gift.
Okay, now then. Welcome to the 15th edition of the weekly Up to DIA newsletter. Today we have episode 25 of the Reinventing Finance Podcast, four new presentations from DIA Munich 2022 and two exceptional thought leadership articles.
First off is episode 24 of the Reinventing Finance Podcast , hosted by Nikolaus Sühr and Tom VAN DER LUBBE and features Suleiman Sukkar , Director of Business Developments and Deployments at Socotra .
During this podcast, you'll find out about Suleiman's background and his path to the insurance industry, his role and tasks and what it takes to launch new products.
Next up is a thought leadership interview with Robert Bruil , VP Global Partnerships at Uberall . In this interview, you'll learn more about how today's consumers are leveraging digital channels with nearly every (insurance) purchase decision they make. In order for insurers to stand out in the crowded market, they can make use of global SaaS provider Uberall's solutions.
The other thought leadership article is an interview with Isabelle M. Conner , Group Chief Marketing and Customer Officer at Generali . During this interview you'll find out more about the importance of agents to Generali, and their effort to turn these agents into 'phygital' advisory powerhouses. A phygital advisor is an agent who conducts business and deepens relationships with existing clients, while seamlessly navigating between the physical and digital branches.
Next up we have three presentations from DIA Munich 2022 again and starting things off is credium . Timm Tr?nkler , Co-Founder and CEO took the stage to present their geospatial AI solution for insurers. Timm went over its benefits, options and how it works in an eight-minute Show & Tell demo.
Second one was presented by Co-Founder & CCO Michelle Heppler from Pathmate Technologies AG . The star of the show was their digital coach called Manoa, which makes it easy for people with high blood pressure to track their health, improve their lifestyle and ultimately decrease the risks of getting heart-related diseases.
Last one for this week is Socotra , presented by CEO Dan Woods and Product Lead Victor Fateh . Their presentation was all about the Socotra App MarketPlace, a cloud-native software app marketplace for insurers. The app helps reduce time-to-market from months to just minutes. Thirteen leading insurance tech providers recently joined Socotra's MarketPlace to publish their modern software apps on the platform.
