Earlier this January 2022, I saw this message with big black bold letters in my social media feed; promoting the UoPeople. Just of curiosity I saved the link and reviewed in calm the ad info a few hours later.?

Calling to Action:

The ad called to action to enroll in the new year academic term, the one was having a pre-established deadline by January 6, 2022. This notice sounds to me like a great opportunity, because I was planning to go back to college and take some academic courses related to Computer Science, so immediately I decided to search online and get the answers to my interrogatives through the UoPeople official webpage. Finding a response to my inquiries was very easy because the webpage is very friendly to navigate.

Academic Programs

The University of people are offering; Certificates, Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degrees, in the top high-demand careers like:

Taking Action

The two main points that convinced me to enroll were; that I confirmed the authenticity of being an American Accredited Institution and the WES Canada recognition.

Enrollment Process

The enrollment process was super easy, fast, and friendly because from the beginning you had the support of an Academic Advisor. The cost of application fee was only $60 USD.

Transcripts

After filling out and paying the application fee, I submitted my previous academic transcripts, from College and University. A couple of days later, I received an e-mail confirming the transfer credits approved, being a total of 7. The cost for each approved credit was $17 USD?

The Courses

The modality is 100% online, the platform is very friendly to use. The length of each course is 9 weeks, divided into 5 terms per year. You are required to take an orientation course that will teach you how is working the whole system.

Course Experience

I really enjoy how is delivered the class, the instructors promote the interaction between students in a “Collaborating Learning Environment", with this method every single student brings a lot of experience, knowledge, and feedback to the class members.

In Conclusion

If you are following me through social media for a while, already know my passion for continuing education. I spare a decent budget every single year to invest in that. I enjoy earning updated certifications on sites like;?Linkedin Learning, Coursera, Edx, IBM, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and local Canadian-US Colleges.

Believe me, being enrolled as a student in UoPeople is one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Just recently finished my first module and I’m 100% convinced about that. For this reason, I decided to write this article and share it with my connections.

In my humble opinion, the Uopeople is the top online university, to who is pursuing an accreditable academic education at an affordable cost.
