Unveiling Your Talent: The Intersection of Purpose and Passion

In this edition of "Purpose with Myriem", let's dive deep into the concept of finding your talent and how it connects with discovering your purpose. Have you ever been bombarded with questions about your talents—what are you good at, what makes you unique? The truth is, everyone possesses a God-given talent that, when unveiled, propels them towards excellence.

You might find yourself wondering, "What is my talent, and how do I identify it?" Trust me, I've been there too, struggling with the same uncertainties. I questioned my strengths, wondering if excelling as a finance director was my true talent. The quest to unravel this mystery remained unanswered until I shifted my focus to a more profound question: "What is my purpose?"

As soon as I delved into understanding and implementing my purpose, I unearthed my genuine talent—a talent not confined to managing finance projects but rooted in who I am, what I want to do, and what I believe in. For me, it translated into creating purposeful businesses that empower both my team and the community we serve. I discovered that my true talent lies in purposefully ideating and bringing these ideas to life. And how do I know that is my true talent? I genuinely enjoy every aspect of this process, from inception to fruition.

Now, as you embark on your own journey of talent discovery, the next question arises: What do you do with your talent? Remember the saying, "Don't waste your talent." If God has given you a particular talent, rest assured that you are fully capable of handling it and contributing to our environment and community. It's a fact! So, upon discovering your talent, the next step is to utilise it in some way—whether for your work, as a hobby, or in service to others. Like a boomerang, the positive outcomes of using your talent will always come back to enrich your life.
