Through LUPs (low unit packs) many products becomes affordable and help lower income segments to consume ,groom, become hygienic as well plus travel pack ..Like sachets od Shampoi,soaps,hair oils,.any food items et , Parle G unit packs plus many others..Packaging is a great leveller 2. Packaging helps e.g ORS ,nutritional sachets to reach to last person e.g in Africa 3. It prevent safe consumption and reduce huge wastage including food and agriculture products otherwise releasing methane gas( which adversely affects Ozone layer) 4. It prevents counterfitting and excise thefts specially in Liquor Industry with proper traceability and through overt and covert features 5. Packaging is helping even in space program for special foods for astronauts as anti gravity solutions 6. Packaging through MAP ,breathometer and Laser scoring with temperature ,humidity control is helping fresh fruits and vegetables with other Agri products like cut flowers etc There r many more examples as well.
