Unlike traditional talk therapy, dance therapy recognizes the body as a vehicle for self-expression, utilizing the inherent connection between mind and body to promote healing. As all emotions are stored in the body.

2. Expressing the Unspoken:

One of the most compelling aspects of dance therapy is its ability to give a voice to the unspoken. 4.Mind-Body Connection:

At the core of dance therapy is the acknowledgment of the mind-body connection. The therapeutic dance movements not only stimulate the release of endorphins but also promote relaxation and reduce cortisol levels. This harmonious interplay fosters a sense of balance, contributing to overall mental and physical well-being.

My favourite dance therapy form is playing 5 different types of music and dancing. This form is known as 5 Music Therapy given to us by Osho. I also like to dance in a dark room with only candles seeing my dancing shadow on the wall. The later I discovered when once light went off and had to dance with candles and since then its been my favourite.
