Unveiling insights: What was my experience as an exhibitor at India Mobile Congress 2023 in New Delhi?

Before I begin sharing my experience at India Mobile Congress, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to XED , Cornell Maha60 Accelerator Program & the Govt. of Maharashtra for giving Atulsia Technologies Private Limited , the opportunity to participate in India Mobile Congress 2023. Thank you!

This year India Mobile Congress 2023 was organized at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 27-29 October 2023. All the exhibitors reached a day early to collect their exhibitor, delegate passes. Since PM visit was planned before the inauguration, one proximity pass was given per exhibitor. This proximity pass was more like a security pass because PM visit was planned in exhibition area. Only proximity pass holders were allowed to be present in that area.

The inauguration ceremony was at 10am in Bharat Mandapam and before that PM visit was planned starting from Hall 5. Everyone started entering the venue from as early as 6:30am onwards. There was very tight security planned and slowly everyone started settling in either Bharat Mandapam waiting for inauguration to start or in their respective exhibition halls.

Entire exhibition hall was nicely setup with all the facilities for exhibitors. Large exhibit areas and booths for enterprises and Pods like setup for startups was very well designed. Entire area was super clean, entry-exit well defined and various LED screens for showcasing your product / services were also given.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the exhibition at Hall 5 and took a walkthrough. We were honored to have a close encounter with the Prime Minister, albeit from a short distance. PM Narendra Modi learned about new products and services launched by the enterprises and was very much engaged in the conversation. We have always seen him taking real interest in all technologies and here we got chance to witness it live.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the 7th Edition of the India Mobile Congress 2023 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The inauguration ceremony begun with the address by Shri Ashwini Vaishnav ji, Hon. Minister of Communications, Railways and IT. Industry leaders also spoke on the occasion like Mr. Aakash Ambani (Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd), Shri Sunil Bharti Mittal (Chairman Bharti Enterprises), Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla (Chairman of Aditya Birla Group).

PM Narendra Modi spoke about India's leadership position in the telecommunication sector. He said now we are exporter in Telecom industry. He said that the country with the 5G rollout last year has 'surprised' the world. He also unveiled 100 5G labs spread across India.

After the inauguration session, exhibition started in Hall 2, 3, 4 & 5. All exhibitors got busy attending their own booth and talking to visitors. At Atulsia Technologies, we provide enterprise software development services for large enterprises as well as startups. For us, a lot of like minded and interested collaboration was possible in the field of telecomm, mobile, AI, ML and other technologies.

We demonstrated our 4 ventures under group company Atulsia:

1. Atulsia Technologies: An enterprise software development company
2. Atulsia Megastores: Online social marketplace for handmade products
3. Atulsia VR: Division of AR, VR & MR based solutions
4. Atulsia Labs: R&D Cell for innovatice technological products

We managed our booth in such a way that one exhibitor is always there at the booth while other can visit different stalls for networking and learning about what other new technologies have come in the industry. Apart from exhibition, there were mentorship sessions, meeting with investors and also fireside chat at ASPIRE stage in Hall 5.

At IMC 2023, only 3 days are not enough to network with everyone but you can try to connect with as many people as possible in your industry and spend quality time explaining about your products and services to them. Also try to explore possible collaboration.

When you attend and exhibit at such a high profile & ASIA's one of the largest tech festival, you also get to meet your favorite industry leaders and mentors. I also got chance to meet icons like Mr. Aakash Ambani, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mr. Sunil Bharati Mittal and Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw ji who has turned the Indian telecom industry & made us a global provider. These are the unforgettable moments captured in photographs and all thanks India Mobile Congress 2023.
