In this edition, I will be focusing on words, music, and zen and how this correlates with your life. They all give life to thoughts and sentiments and orchestrate connections that traverse the hearts and intellect. It's a captivating tango between imagination's flair and precision's grace, fusing the symphony of language with the profound resonance of meaning. This artisanal craft enables us to compose an eloquent chorus of expression, an opus that resonates through time. The art and science of words and writing hold an unparalleled power to evoke emotions, provoke thoughts, and bridge the gaps between hearts and minds. It's a delicate dance between creativity and precision, weaving together the perfect blend of language and meaning. Through this intricate craft, we can create a symphony of expression, touching souls and leaving an indelible impact on the world around us. Amidst the grandeur of this endeavor, a charming secret emerges about me, I still cherish the art of crafting greeting cards – those tangible tokens of connection that carry the warmth of a handwritten message, for all occasions. In an era of digital exchanges, these tokens are my way of etching cherished moments into the tapestry of memory. It takes time, it takes thought, it takes care, and genuine sentiments are shared, which allows the person reading the greeting card to know that s/he is special.

Yet there's more to this story. Nestled within the corridors of my passions is a collection of records, those venerable black discs, of all genres and from around the world. And yes, I delight in spinning them on my wooden record player. The allure of music's varied strains, across genres vast and diverse, holds me in its embrace. For me, true musical bliss is found in the analog realm, where the symphony of melodies and the poetry of lyrics converge. Call me an old soul, but I find solace in the harmonious melodies, resonant voices, and profound narratives that unfurl within the grooves. Whether amid the verdant tranquility of a garden, the serenity of a church during prayer, the embrace of the countryside, or the vast expanse of the shore, I find my sanctuary. With a glass of whiskey, neat and untamed, or a glass of Porto, while immersing myself in the pages of a good book, I listen to the symphony of life unfolding – a blend of artistry that nurtures my soul in moments of pure zen.

I have held on to the timeless tradition of crafting greeting cards and etching heartfelt messages for those within my circle. And while vinyl records may seem like relics, they remain my gateway to music's magic, reminding me that lyrics and melodies are timeless companions on life's journey. Another example, as the music intertwines with the rhythm of my sunset runs, a fleeting moment of zen emerges, a serene space where the mind clears, and the beauty of both music, words, and movement harmoniously converge. My other places of zen would include the peacefulness of a church, a library, a quaint coffee shop and bakery, and the kitchen while cooking and baking.
