Solis Minerals pounces on acquisition of Jaguar Lithium Project in Brazil

Battery metals explorer Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) has struck a binding option agreement to purchase the Jaguar Lithium Project in Bahia State, Brazil.

Speaking to?Mining.com.au,?Solis Minerals Executive Director Matthew Boyes says the US$3.9 million agreement represents an opportunity to move into a lithium province in Brazil that it considers to have ‘massive potential’.

Under the deal, the company will acquire 100% of the tenements 871427/2006 and 872376/2021 from the vendors, Marico Mineracao Itda and Igramar Industria de Ganitos e Marmores, through Solis’ subsidiary, Onca Mineracao.

Group 6 Metals dives into first production of tungsten concentrate at Dolphin Mine, Tasmania

Group 6 Metals (ASX:G6M) has produced its first tungsten concentrate at its wholly owned Dolphin Tungsten Mine (DTM), located on King Island in Tasmania, Australia.?

The company reports the construction of the processing plant is nearing completion, with performance testing underway to achieve 400,000tpa processing capacity.?

Commenting on the tungsten concentrate production, Group 6 Metals Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director Keith McKnight says:?“Production of first concentrate at the Dolphin Tungsten Mine is another significant milestone for Group 6 Metals and is a credit to the hard work and dedication of our site team and contractors."
