Amidst the eternal cosmic movement, there lies a concealed melody - a symphony that resonates with ancient wisdom and celestial rhythms. This story takes us back to when our planet, Earth, commenced its annual waltz around the sun. Racing at an incredible 30 km per second, it traverses 147,186,462 km. Yet, in this cosmic dance, velocity is not silent - it is the creator of sound. Like the sun, our cosmic companion sways to its rhythm, soaring through space at a breathtaking 225 km per second.
Believe it or not, in an astonishing attempt to unravel the mysteries of the universe, NASA once endeavoured to capture celestial harmony. It was in the year 1964 that they dared to record the hums resonating through the cosmos. Although never officially acknowledged, the whispers they managed to capture included the enchanting notes of ??, ??, ??, ??, and more. It was almost as if the universe was serenading us with its secrets, a cosmic symphony resonating through the void, a mesmerising melody that had been echoing through space and time.
Long before Sir Isaac Newton introduced us to the rainbow spectrum with VIBGYOR, ancient Indian scriptures, the Vedas, whispered about sunlit hues. They not only revealed seven colours of sun rays but also hinted at two more that our eyes can't grasp. And when those rays gracefully embrace our planet's atmosphere, they hum a gentle tune—a cosmic ???? (swara), a harmony that bridges Earth and the cosmos.
As we observe the Earth and its cosmic dance with its partner, we are presented with a captivating symphony - the cosmic conversation of ??, ??, ??, ??, ??, known as ?????? (vyanjana). The harmony between the celestial bodies that produce this cosmic chorus is truly remarkable and creates an orchestra of sound that resonates throughout space and time. Considering the beauty and grandeur of the universe's celestial melodies is awe-inspiring.

Millennia ago, sages embarked on a profound journey to replicate the celestial cadences using their vocal cords. Their contemplative quests led them to create a language that echoed the universe's heartbeat - Sanskrit. Imagine the inspiration that fuelled their quest to decipher these cosmic rhythms and the legacy they left behind.
For more than two and a half millennia (over 2500 years), India wholeheartedly embraced Sanskrit, elevating it to the status of the language of art, science, literature, and trade. This unwavering devotion to Sanskrit nurtured countless civilisations and inspired generations to come. In contrast, while some languages were sprouting, English emerged from the fusion of Anglo-Saxon and Norman invaders, who decided to share linguistic tea parties on British soil. On the other hand, some modern languages were crafted out of political negotiations and identity crises, which pales in comparison to the cosmic inspirations behind the creation of Sanskrit.
Hindi is our "rashtrabhasha", and English is the global language of commerce, but Sanskrit is undoubtedly the mother tongue of the universe. As India's flag proudly graces the moon and the success of Chandrayaan 3 is celebrated as "Shiv Shakti," a newfound curiosity arises. This is not just any curiosity but a cosmic calling to decode nature's symphony. With renewed spirit, our nation sets out to decipher the universe's whispers, intricately encrypted in the ancient script of Sanskrit.
This journey is a remarkable opportunity to connect with the universe profoundly. By immersing ourselves in the language of the cosmos and following its path through time and space, we can discover the true essence of our existence. As we observe World Sanskrit Day on August 31st, let's embrace the wonder of this ancient language and continue our cosmic conversation. Every word of Sanskrit holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of the universe and building bridges between Earth and the cosmos. It's a journey that promises to reveal the universe's secrets and fill our hearts with hope and optimism.

1 年This post is for those who think Sanskrit has no relevance. A manipulated civilization is standing elevated because of people who are still deeply rooted and advocate about the diversity and richness this country has to offer. Sometime back India hosted it's first ever Sanskrit film festival. We have to move away from the mindset that we were discovered by Columbus. It should be like "India was very much there and Columbus came on a trip to our country and the rest is a history."
