As Talanta Institute, we offer a stepping stone for any student with a media related interest. We pride ourselves in offering practical training through our equipped departments. All with an aim to help students as they proceed to the next level in their lives. We offer mentorships in collaboration with specialists in various fields to help in molding a wholesome student who can fit in any circumstances. We equip our students with skills that will help them survive and excel in the competitive world outside school.

We offer courses in TV and Film production. In this course, students are taught the entire production process that is the pre- production, production and post production. This course entails units such as camera work both in videography, editing, sound operations, lighting, production management, script writing, strategic communication, media law, public relations and aspects of sets, make- up and wardrobe.

A career in TV and Film production will open a variety of opportunities in the job market. Some of these include being part of the film crew. As a member of the film crew, you are responsible for creating and maintaining the rigging that holds lighting, camera and sound equipment. You can also be a camera operator, music director, Film producer, film editor, production planner or a location manager. In addition, you can also be a media researcher. Your role will be doing research on production staff, time periods and filming location.

We also offer Broadcast Journalism. This course presents a study of journalistic news, feature and sports writing. We emphasize on news writing techniques and on related ethical and legal issues. With a certificate or diploma in Broadcast Journalism you are open to opportunities such as a Broadcast Journalist, Broadcast engineer, Newscast director, voice over artist and a researcher.

To all with an interest in Music, we offer Music Production and sound engineering. This program is designed for anyone interested in music production and music writing. We cover units such ad music production process, creating musical ideas, listening and analysis, music writing common rookie mistakes, beat making, recording, editing, mixing and mastering. With a career in music, you can take up a role as a sound engineer, record producer, composer, song writer, performing artists, song writer, sound engineer, talent agent or a music programmer.

In addition, we also offer Graphic Design. This program emphasizes creative application of design principles and problem solving in graphic design. You will learn the art of creating logos, brochure and publication design, page layout and typography. With a graphic design career, you can take up roles as an art director, Logo designer, multimedia animator. You can even opt for self-employment and own your personal graphic design shop.

We also offer Animation. In this program the learners get to master a variety of concepts and skills in 3D animation, modelling, digital sculpting, texturing, lighting and rendering. In addition, they will also master live action Tracking and compositing techniques enabling them to incorporate computer generated components into live action footage.

With a career in Animation, you can take up a role as a Desktop publisher, film and video editor, or an animation artist. You can also work as an animator in advertising that is creating animations for commercials or campaigns. You can also work in mobile game development. Your role will be creating characters and worlds for people to game through.
