I recently read the following quote about books:

So, I bought a book that I recommend for your reading. Namely, A Christmas Carol is a story by Charles Dickens about an old, miserly man. On Christmas Eve, the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come show him how his mean behavior has affected people, and incited him to change. He discovered there was still time to change his ways for the better. At the end of the story, this mean man transforms into a generous and kind-hearted human being.

Charles Dickens wrote this novella in 1843. but it is still more than current and instructive. The themes of injustice and the inequalities of wealth distribution are universal. A Christmas Carol is a moral story about the spirit of giving and generosity.
